Holiday Homes in Gare de Lyon

"Pros: The property was in an excellent location. Quick and easy access to the metro line, restaurants around the corner including breakfast, dinner and pubs. The house is roomy had enough room for the 7 of us. The host had little welcome gifts and beverages in the fridge for our arrival. Host was very easy to contact and responded quickly. With most European hotels and rentals there was no wash clothes but we were able to purchase some at the store down the street (similar to a Target). Cons:...

"It was extremely hot in Paris. We were on the ground floor with only one fan for the upstairs bed. With the floor to ceiling windows in the front, anyone could have climbed in. Couldn't find the sheets for the sofa bed. It started thundering and raining during the night and got me wet because the windows had to be open or we would have suffocated. We closed the windows and suffered through the heat."

"Lovely, small apartment - we were a group of three friends so used the sofa bed to ensure all had a bed each. Beds were comfortable. The apartment is a bit dark as opening windows would be directly on to pavement but makes great use of a small space. We found the check in instructions a bit hard to follow as post box and apartment don't say the name on them. We had a great stay and I would consider staying here again."

"The views of Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel tower are impressive. The apartment was quiet and modern. Locals gather at the canal outside the front door every night creating a fun atmosphere. We recommend La Marine just across the canal. Easy subway access."
