"The property was clean, as advertised for what to expect. But the best part of the property was being right across the street from the train station. Between Thameslink and Southern you’re 20-30 minutes from the City, basically anywhere in London was reachable in under an hour. You could get here from Heathrow in about an hour by train, which ends up way cheaper than an Uber."

It was therefore difficult to sleep because of the noise but being in August there was no.option but to leave the window open. "traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

Nevertheless in the hallway had been a great leakage which left its marks and in the bathroom a part of the ceiling paint came down and was hanging loose. That was quite unnecessary even for the friendly budget price we paid."
