"Nice convenient location for a family catch up"

"Had to provide photo ID online before checking in. Had to wait for at least ten minutes before anyone came to reception to check me in. The place felt as if it had been abandoned in the 1980s. Very basic.room. Shower was a dribble, though to be fair, the dribble was hot. Thin though large towels. On a positive note: two packs of custard creams with the teas and coffees. Will not be returning."

"Overall a great experience, the staff are a credit to the hotel. Only downside, the people above sounding like they were renovating till nearly midnight."

"Really great stay. The public areas of the hotel are very welcoming and the grounds surrounding it fabulous. Room very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I used all the spa facilities which were a real bonus. The staff were really courteous and helpful. All in all, thoroughly recommended."
