Dog friendly hotel with very attentive staff, and, a breakfast sausage to boot! Unfortunately, missed the turnoff to get to the hotel, which caused some stress for the driver. We will be better prepared for our next stay, though. Slight issue with the toilet flushing, or running constantly, but, the duty manager resolved the issues within good time.

Hotel and staff were fine apart from an untraceable and intermittent ticking sound which rendered sleep almost impossible. We stayed in room 128 but at checkout the following morning there were at least two other rooms complaining of the noise. Shame really because apart from that it was fine

Good hotel. In the West End of Glasgow on Byres Road loads of food and drink options nearby. 2 mins to Hillhead underground so easy to get around the city too. We live in Glasgow so just stayed a night so that we could have a day out and a night at the Stand Comedy club which was also excellent. We know the area well and have stayed before so happy to recommend particularly if you’re a tourist who wants to experience the best of Glasgow’s more Bohemian/University side of town!

Staff were great and car park was really handy. The hotel is beautiful but we had an awful sleep because of the bar music. Not ideal for a 60th birthday celebration

Fabulous Receptionist, Shona, gave the perfect friendly welcome on arrival and treated my friend & me to 2 complimentary drinks because she knew it was a birthday treat! It's the little things that make all the difference. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Traffic noise an issue but we got complimentary earplugs from Reception. Did the job! Listed building, so cannot have double glazing. Worth noting.

Great stay at the Grovesnor. The rooms were surprisingly large compared to most other options! Nice convenient location near the botanic gardens. Some areas of the hotel need updating/maintaining, but overall it was a very nice stay.
