This was a great stay for the night before hiking the west highland way. Although the outside and adjoining facilities look rundown, the room itself was very pleasant, and the check-in staff were friendly, warm, and inviting. Best bedding of the entire trip!

I had mushrooms growing in my room. I discovered it in the morning of departure (just one night stay). When I told the lady in the reception all I got was, "Yeah, sorry about that, I'll talk to maitnenace". I also contacted customer service, they said they were sorry about my experience and then told me to take it up with Expedia. I will not stay at the Premier Inn Milngavie again

The sample photos must be a few years old, because the building façade and our room were already getting on in years. In our bathroom there were many black mold stains or something like mold on the joints. Something like that really shouldn't be there. But the food and staff were very friendly and nice. I think it's just a practical hotel to start the West Highland Way from, as we did after a very short stay. But not a feel-good vacation spot. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
