"lovely hotel, great spa facilities & lovely meal. staff all fab . nly issue was the security bold on the room jammed into place when we were int he spa so we couldnt get back into our room and they had to call maintenance. the lady on reception said it happens often. we were in a hurry so it was not great and we began to panic about the time. these should be removed and replaced with ones that cant lock when you leave the room. very scary if you left a young child in there and popped out for 1 minute or had a train to catch etc. aoart from that it was brtilliant - thank you "

"We was welcomed with a smile and great energy. All questions were answered upon arrival. The room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is a buffet and it was delicious all locally sourced food and you could taste it. The views from the hotel are breathtaking definitely something you miss when coming home. All members of staff had a smile on their face and were very welcoming. The bar is lovely 2 open fires were perfect to sit next to and relax for the evening. Town is about 20 minutes drive I don’t know about bus service. We will definitely be back missing it already "

"Never stayed in a hotel before with so many restrictions. Unable to check-in before 3pm, or use any of the leisure facilities until then. Had to pay £50/night for my dog to accompany me when I booked the hotel specifically because it was advertised as dog-friendly. The dinner was poor quality, bread stale, and not worth the price charged."
