"This property was very clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Being wood it was very warm inside when the sun was out but that also meant that it stayed warm at night. The lodge did have lots of windows that you could open though. It was very modern inside and laid out very well. Glad that it was a gated driveway, so my dog was able to wander around without the worry of him escaping. The view was amazing! It was lovely to watch the horses! The driveway down the lodge was a bit tight...

"This was a bait and switch. We saw the beautiful king room with bay window on the web site and booked and paid for it. Instead we got a tiny box with a queen bed and no room to turn around or open suitcases. We were told we would be sent a code to get into the hotel. We never received it so stood out in the rain until another patron came along as our American phone couldn't connect. Another patron was able to call for us when we were inadvertantly locked out of our room. There is no one present on the property. STAY AWAY!"

"My partner has mobility issues, and from the moment we arrived it became immediately apparent that your hotel is wholly unsuitable for guests with any form of reduced mobility. Even getting from the car park into the hotel was extremely difficult due to the number of stairs and the complete lack of appropriate accessible alternatives. Throughout the hotel there are stairs everywhere with little to no consideration for accessibility. What has made this even more disappointing is that we specifically chose your hotel because of the spa facilities, expecting this to be somewhere we could relax and enjoy together. Instead, getting to the spa itself felt like an obstacle course for someone with mobility difficulties. To make matters worse, once at the swimming pool, my partner was left embarrassed and distressed because there was simply no safe or accessible way for him to enter the pool. The steps were extremely steep, there were no suitable accessibility facilities, and the surrounding floor was dangerously slippery. The entire experience was humiliating for him and deeply upsetting for both of us. When we raised these concerns with staff, we were offered a couple of complimentary drinks. Frankly, we found this response completely inadequate given the seriousness of the issues raised. Even staff themselves acknowledged that the hotel is not accessible for people with mobility issues, which makes this situation even more concerning."
