"The hotel a very lovely older hotel, stately, and well maintained. The cost per night was reasonable. We ordered the breakfast when we booked the room. It was well worth it ... a full Irish breakfast that was served to our table rather the the usual buffet line. The only downside was that it was hard to find ... the main entrance was hidden behind a sidewalk cafe. It it was difficult to find a close place to park to unload luggage. Parking was in a public parking lot about a 5 minute walk away."

"A beautiful hotel, a short walk into downtown but we didn't mind. The rooms were well appointed, we also enjoyed the bar in the evening for a quiet spot. The fire on the lobby fireplace was a nice touch in the evening."

"The hotel is in immaculate condition and you can tell how much care and thought has been put into the refurbishments. The communal areas are gorgeous and the bedrooms are stunning whilst also being extremely modern with every extra you can think of (think Dyson hairdryers, clothes steamers, modern aircon and light controls). But what really made our stay were the staff, each was somehow friendlier and more helpful than the last and it made our short stay really special. From the valet and concierge, to the spa which was so welcoming, and the housekeeping and waiting staff who were so kind and proactive without being invasive. Couldn’t recommend enough."
