5/5 - Excellent
If you’re not going because you want to see the locations where Heartbeat and Harry Potter were filmed, probably best to avoid the summer as it can get very busy!!

The cottage was cosy and had everything you needed. Would benefit from a full size ironing board as the one they have is to small and awkward to use. Kitchen a little bit tired looking but still managed to cook breakfast. Ideally located round the corner from the Cod and Lobster but book in advance ...

The host made it easy for us to find the cottage and key safe, also a lovely touch of a welcome card and bottle of new year fizz.

Great facilities for a small North Yorkshire picturesque village
Lovely quiet small village. Steam trains at station at the bottom of the road
Beautiful location
Very peaceful, we had excellent weather, called into 2 other places but were not as welcoming as staff at inn in moor
Lovely hidden location , very tranquil with sheep freely wondering on the Yorkshire Moors. Definitely will return to explore the area .
