Saxonville Hotel

Saxonville Hotel

8/10 Good
"Our room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. However, it was on the top floor and as we are both in our 70s it was a little tiring getting up there. The internet connection at that level was also poor. The food was excellent. There was a good choice at breakfast and the evening menu varied each night. It was all waitress served and the waiting staff were lovely, helpful and very efficient. Parking is available but limited. We had difficulty parking on occasion and had to pay to park at a road near the hotel. However, overall, a very pleasant stay in a lovely cared for hotel, friendly staff and lovely food."

Station Inn

Station Inn

10/10 Excellent
"We chose a room here for location convenience, but it became our lovely respite after a busy day being tourists! Very clean and well presented, stocked with hot drink necessities, and the staff were super nice. We stayed from Thursday to Saturday while aware of the potential noise from their music nights, but we honestly didn't find it a bother. Even in the centre of Whitby it all quietens down around midnight. Room 2 was spacious and had great views, everything is on your doorstep from this location. We would definitely recommend to others & stay again!"

Saltmoore

Saltmoore

"First time to Saltmoore, although visited in the past when it was Raithwaite Hall. Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Beach House. Nice big room. We did not try the leisure facilities, as we were happy in the fresh ai,r walking along the beaches to Sandsend & Whitby. The weather was good, which helps too. We did eat in the Brasserie, which was excellent. It’s good to not pay over the odds for drinks too. A lovely place to visit and we will return."
