"I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is quiet, nice, modern and clean. The staff prepared some sweets for us to celebrate our 35th anniversary, which is very heart warming! Thank you hotel team! Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small. Be careful when using the glass door, make sure it is closed the right way. The food at the restaurant "Jorgensen" is excellent. Arctic Char and Lamb sirloin are great."

"Here’s a more polished, slightly posh-British version with that warm, gracious travel-review tone: I rather embarrassingly managed to book my stay for the wrong day and only realised my mistake upon arriving at the hotel. The front desk staff could not have been more kind or accommodating. Although the hotel was unfortunately fully booked, they happily stored my luggage while I worked out an alternative plan, and even offered use of the shower should I decide to head straight to the airport. Sadly, because the booking had been made through Hotels.com, neither they nor the hotel were able to cancel or amend the reservation. Nonetheless, the receptionist went above and beyond — she even contacted a guest who had not yet arrived, as there was one remaining reserved room, to see whether they still intended to check in. The level of service at CityHub Reykjavik was simply sublime. I stayed here previously and found it wonderfully comfortable, and this experience only reinforced my impression. Exceptional hospitality and genuinely lovely people. A tiny lapse in my planning; a masterclass in customer service."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Saga Reykjavik. We felt welcome from the time we checked in until our departure. The daily breakfast was also a fantastic start to our day. The room was very comfortable and bathroom amazing. Our only suggestion and very minor detail would be to allow guests to turn the temperature down further than the air conditioning allowed to a preferred comfort level as we found the room quite warm at night even with the window slightly open being cold outside."

Loved the location near shops and sights,…..and especially the bus stop right outside our door useful when flybus dropped us off from airport, and for excursion pickups/dropoffs"

"Hotel conveniently located if you need parking and will move around out of Reykjavik. Staff EXTREMELY friendly, very helpful with a smile in their faces. The room is too small. I was expecting a little more comfort for the price we paid. Bed is comfortable, just 1 pillow per person and 2 small separate blankets. Might be cultural, but we thought that unusual. The bathroom is also small. Breakfast very good, wonderful breads and a few local delicacies."
