"Good place to stay while diving the reef. Breakfast is nothing special but keeps you fed. Pool chairs and equipment, beds and general up keep fell short. Chairs really uncomfortable and the bed we had made a crap load of noise. Place was generally clean but lots of hair everywhere for some reason. Rooms are not sound proof - you can hear your neighbours talking or showering. We had a room of kids beside us screaming until 1230 but not the hotels fault on that. "
"We loved the location and our ocean view. The breakfast and all of the staff were outstanding! Unfortunately the pool was out of order while we were there. But otherwise a lovely stay!
"
"It’s a great location for all travelers. Close to everything. Bus stop and fleet is 5 minster walk. Shops are close by. Hotel is clean and we liked it very much. "
"The pools and 2 restaurants made it a very convenient stay. It’s close to grocery stores so we could get some snacks. The resort dated, but clean and comfortable! The fire alarm went off in our room at 7am the morning we were leaving, so that got us out of there early. I’m sure a battery change would fix that but it was slightly annoying. The cafe restaurant doesn’t include “sauces” with meals, that meant we got no tomato sauce (ketchup) or tartar sauce with our fish and chips if we didn’t pay for it when we ordered. We didn’t know we had to state the obvious and we weren’t asked if we wanted it when we ordered, so we didn’t get any. When I asked for both she gave me tartar, but said I’d have to go back to the front to pay for ketchup. That was a bit silly, but overall the kids loved the pools and we had a good stay. The food was good. "
"The room does not have a toaster, microwave or a sink.
They do not even provide drinking water in a jug.
They wanted me to bring my food down to reception/lobby and they will not allow me to use their microwave but heat my food without washing hands.
Absolutely unacceptable to me as a doctor.
Use any other option but Doubletree Hilton."
