"Tired room, with marks in wall, window poor with damage, plaster falling off by door, horrible ceiling. Slept ok though and Breakfast was good!"

"The Black dog offers affordable accommodation. An excellent restaurant, friendly bar service and comfy beds. Unfortunately the room wasnt cleaned properly with my bathroom bin full from the previous occupier, bottle tops in the corner and a loo that hadnt been clean with a broken seat. Its these little things that make a good score."
