The property is next to Chinatown so plenty to see. It is close to a tram stop so the whole area is walkable but quiet at the same time. The room size was good and we had a kitchenette. The free pastries were good as well. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall would stay here again.

1. the room wasn’t cleaned to a respectable standard. i.e. the floors stained clothing and socks brown, the bathroom had hairs everywhere and shower tray was stained black and needs the silicone re done,dust in wardrobe and surfaces, woodwork of kitchen hanging off and had to fix it ourselves, the lift was also broken. 2. one member of staff was helpful but came across very rude and snappy. 3. however location was great and next to china town with great food options. 4. good distance to shops/bars/ restaurants.

Nice location near Chinatown. I was travelling with kids (7- 13 yo). You can hear everyting and the couple nextdoor was getting at it like bunnies during the day (and nigth). The room was nice and clean and friendly staff.

Excellent access to downtown Manchester!

Location was excellent with short walks to trains or trams, and a close location to museums, night life, and restaurants. Not the cleanest or in the best shape, but ok, and the staff was incredible! Very helpful and easy to work with. Good breakfast if you like coffee and croissants- the croissants were amazing!

This room is locally very centrally to the train station, restaurants and bars. The check in was easy and staff were friendly. The room was spacious snd clean. The only thing we didnt like was being on the ground/first floor, the windows are just above head height, but buses are passing and stopping outside constantly

Excellent checking experience and very friendly and competent staff. Room ok, hard mattress and bathroom a bit tired. Towels feel like they’ve been washed a thousand times. Road noise from outside not sufficiently blocked out. Overall this is a lovely little hotel that’s near many things and has excellent staff. Just needs some extra care & attention.

The location is great, near some good pubs and restaurants and Piccadilly station a 10 minute walk. Check in was great. Bed was comfortable, shower good and the kitchen facilities whilst no oven were very useful. The shutters on the windows did look good, but let in quite a bit of light early in the mornings. Staff friendly and the croissants and coffee very welcome in the mornings. Very satisfied.

Overall great location as it is next to the tram station and bus stop. Our room was spacious and had lots of natural light. The bed sank towards the middle, so it was very uncomfortable. The complimentary croissant and coffee was a nice touch.

No free patking

I booked this stay due to staying in Roomzz in Leeds and having g a great experience, it’s location in Manchester but more importantly because it said it had free parking. I called the reception the morning of my stay to confirm where the free parking was located and was told ‘across the road from the apartments’. When I arrived I couldn’t find the parking so pulled up and went in to ask and was informed by reception that there was no free parking, it cost me £32 to park for just under 24 hours. I found this very disappointing given that the free parking was the main reason for me booking this stay. The apartments and friendliness of the staff are great, but I would not have booked this given the cost to park.

Roomz Refresh Needed

Stay was ok. This was the first time I have been back since 2021 and it seemed like a lot has changed. The room while ok definetly had wear and tear lots of cracks on the walls and skirting boards which made it look quite tired. I was told on checkin that the normal breakfast which previously included fruit, fruit juice, oats and sometimes cereal had now changed and it was just croissants. I was quite disheartend to hear this and it definetly had an impact on whether I would book again as for the price I want to ensure im getting my moneies worth and other apartments in manchester include breakfast . Rooms are cleaned daily but not all consistent i.e the bathroom is always cleaned and towels refreshed however one day the floor would be mopped and another day it would be missed.The location is perfect as its in the heart of the city centre so very accessible for getting about. Disappointed this time and think its time for some general room modernisation.

Horrible, grim place

Horrible, grim place to stay. Bathroom smelled of piss. Lighting was dim and cold in the bathroom (forget trying to do your makeup) and super bright and cold in the bedroom. Our room was at street level directly looking out onto a very busy road, so had to keep curtains shut. The air was airplane-level dry, incredibly uncomfortable for sleeping. Windows seemed decently soundproofed but couldn’t keep out noise of big drunk groups walking by and cars blaring music. Thought the walls were soundproofed but turned out our neighbors - a very loud group that had been out partying - just didn’t get back until 1am, at which point we could hear every single word they said. Shower had “two in one shampoo conditioner” which left my hair feeling like straw. Coffee and tea are all in the lobby so you have to go get that if you want to make tea in your room. Only positives were that the bed was comfortable and clean, and reception staff were friendly and helpful. This place isn’t even cheap - spend the extra £100 and stay in a real hotel if you can.
