I was trapped in my room for more than 15 minutes due to a fault with the electronic mechanism. Reception staff told me the manager would be informed but when he eventually arrived he told me he had only just been told. I asked him what would have happened if there had been a fire. He said that did not normally happen. I was concerned he did not take the risk of guests being trapped in a fire with the seriousness it deserves
Blackout curtains are amazing, as is the mattress!
Downside to this hotel - staff didn't acknowledge when we were waiting at reception. Quite a distance to town. Quite a gap around the door making it noisy when visitor were walking past our room.
