"This was hands down the best stay I've ever experienced at a hotel! And for the price point- unreal! The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved having free breakfast and some snacks later on in the day. Drury Plaza helped make my birthday weekend memorable. I will always come back to this property!!"

"I’ve stayed here before and will continue to when I visit Florida. Some recommendations I have are the pillows definitely could use an upgrade definitely feel like they were a little worn out and deflated. I feel like you shouldn’t charge someone to float down the lazy river this should be included in the cost of staying maybe put a hold on a card if you want the floaties back and if you don’t get them then charge the guest but if it’s returned then the guest shouldn’t be charged. Love the transportation to universal and it’s a short walk as well. The $300 dining credit was a huge incentive. Only main issue I had was when I called for towels I had to call again and almost wait 2 hours to get them that was really only the main issue I had this time around. Hopefully you all read this review and it wasn’t a waste of my time as my next trip down we will most likely be staying here again and hope to see some of my suggestions implemented."

"Overall, we had a good stay at this resort. The room was very clean, the price was great, and the location was excellent and convenient for everything we needed. The staff at check-in was fine, and overall the property has a lot of potential for families. However, the main reason I am giving 3 stars is because of our experience at the pool and the lack of supervision and control around the property. There were many children and families at the pool, yet no staff member seemed to be monitoring the environment. A couple appeared to be intoxicated, acting loudly and inappropriately in front of children, making many families visibly uncomfortable. At one point, the woman was walking around the pool area carrying a bottle of tequila, while the man was interacting and playing with children he did not know, which understandably made several parents uncomfortable and caused many families to leave the pool area with their kids. Unfortunately, no staff member stepped in or seemed present to supervise the situation. Another major concern was the strong smell of marijuana throughout the property. Although smoking policies appear to exist, there seemed to be little enforcement. Hallways, outdoor areas, and common spaces frequently smelled strongly of marijuana. For a resort with many families and children, this created an uncomfortable environment. This resort has great pricing, clean rooms, and a good location, but better supervision, stronger enforcement of property rules."
