"The larger suite was the perfect size! We unpacked but realized very quickly that our a/c was not working. We called the front desk, and they said they would move us but never followed up. I had to be proactive, so we ended up getting all of our belongings and headed to the front desk to get our room switched. The second room was smaller, but comfortable. Overall, it was comfortable and the bar had pretty good drinks."

"I loved the little touches like the fresh eucalyptus in the shower. I was hoping for more of a peaceful environment. I didn’t realize it was a place where people came to party. If that’s what you love, I think you will find it there. By the time I was able to get in the pool there had been so many people drinking in there that I felt kind of weird about it. Maybe during the week would have been a different experience."

"I loved this hotel. I could live there. It was gorgeous. Tastefully and beautifully decorated. Comfortable with many seating options where you could socialize, have a drink, or simply relax, amongst beauty and charm. The staff was delightful and kind and answered any questions I had with ease and Grace. They went out of their way to make sure you were taken care of. The pool was gorgeous. The bar served exquisite drinks and the hotel itself is in an excellent location. Off the beaten path so very quiet, but also very close to the activities, shops, and restaurants of South Congress. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Austin and will look for similar hotels in different cities. Exceptional."

"The hotel has a terrible smell upon entrance. Some may be ok with that, however this is a luxury hotel. It should have a luxury ambience. The other part is that the Tommie hotel also connects to it, so you should just book there for half the co. It’s literally the same lobby, bars, pool, etc. You can really just stay there for half the cost, the Thomas was not worth the money overall a 3 star experience"
