"The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. "This was in a perfect spot for us. Walkable to many shops, restaurants and bars. The inn itself was fantastic. Loved the decor and amenities. The coffee machine was wonderful with all the different choices. Checking in and out was very easy and staff was great at communicating. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Austin."

"We stayed in the balcony room on the fifth floor. We were advice sixth street and the balcony was wonderful in the evening to watch the world go by . Very convenient location to everything going on downtown. They provide noise machines and earplugs because on a Saturday night it can be a bit rowdy below.
