"This cabin was perfect for our family of 4! We have a 20 year old and a 15 year old so for them to have their own room was amazing! We spent most nights in the movie room watching shows or playing video games and also enjoyed the hot tub! Super comfy beds and furniture, which is a bonus! We not only saw a bear in the neighborhood but one outside of our cabin the last night, which was super cool! The proximity of this cabin to downtown Gatlinburg was perfect! We could not have asked for a better location! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!"
Family & Pet Friendly Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub, Game Room & Community Pools
10/10 Excellent
"Lots of space ! Kiddos loved the bunkbed , plenty of bathrooms & bedrooms , location was perfect to all the tourist spots. Wasnt able to use the fireplace due to weather , but hot tub was the perfect touch. Most comfortable beds ive ever felt ! Only down spot was the cleanliness, dog hair everywhere (my son is very allergic , so that was horrible for him), food on the drawers, garbage on top of the fridge. But that is not a cabin issue , just a cleaner issue . Host responded very very quickly and was amazing at handling everything. Plus side !!! A family of bears paid us a visit 3"
LeConte Mountain Lodge, AWESOME MOUNTAIN VIEWS, 4900+ SQ. FT. WIFI, Hot Tub!
10/10 Excellent
"We are a large family (there are 29 of us now--15 adults, 14 kids age 9 and under), so finding a place that has enough bed space for all of us is really hard! This home was perfect for us! Very clean, many king rooms with bathrooms attached, a large game room for all of the toys we brought with us. Lots of bunk beds for the kiddos. The only advice I would give is, if you are cooking for a crowd, you probably need to bring larger pots and skillets. Also, there are no crockpots on site, so those need to be brought along as well. But plenty of dishes to feed our crowd, and two dishwashers to clean them! Plenty of fridge and oven space, and even enough dining seating. Also, be aware: This home is perched on top of a mountain and there is, quite literally, only about 10 by 10 feet of flat ground in the yard. Don't expect to play with balls or frisbees in the yard, and do expect to have to guard young children from falling down the embankment that is the yard! There is a very child-friendly creek a 3-minute drive down the road, with plenty of parking. We spent a lot of time in the creek.Lots of things to see and do in nearby Gatlinburg, and a great park with pool and splashpad in Sevierville for a minimal cost.We had a fabulous stay! Highly recommend!"
"We just finished a stay at the Elkmont views cabin with our family of 5. It was perfect. So much space. So beautiful!! We had brought a pack n play for our 2 year old and then our 8 and 12 year old slept on the pull out bed from the couch. The drive up the mountain is beautiful as well but definitely a bit steep. The unit had a washer and dryer as well which was awesome since having kids this is so helpful. The communication with host is wonderful. Pretty fast at responses. Always helped with any questions I had or concerns before and during our stay. We chose to spend most of our stay in the cabin. Cooked, played games on the game table and used the hot tub.(There were wasps but this is expected due to the wooded area-bring wasp spray.)We Even got to see a bear walk out from under the deck off into the bushes one night. We were well prepared with what to bring for ourselves but this unit could add a dustpan, cutting board and grill utensils. Thank you for hosting us. We would definitely come back! "
"Ease of getting to everything worth seeing made the stay work for us. Each day at least 3, usually 4, groups went off to different destinations to pursue different interests. The furnishings were more than adequate. The bears were exciting and frequent visitors. The listing should not refer to the dungeon if it is off limits. This was our only problem but late arrivals and early departures took care of it."
