We wanted a hotel that was far away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and we got just that. Although it's a bit of a drive to get anywhere like shops, things to see, it is the perfect place to stay if you just want to relax in a beautiful area.
Our room was lovely and the hotel itself was stunning and the staff were just great and super friendly.
One small thing was that the food prices was a little much for the amount of food you got (it was very tasty though).
There's also a cosy...

LOVED our cottage!! Very clean, comfi and unique. The restaurant was ok, not the best in the world, but seemed to be popular with the locals, which was nice. Overall great experience, we would definitely go back here!

Nice hotel in a very quiet location, just a short walk from a small lighthouse. Good room size and huge K-size bed :) Staff very helpful, we enjoyed our stay before heading to Loch Lomond.

A beautiful old hotel with beautiful historic features. We had a very comfortable, double aspect room overlooking the garden to the rear and the side of the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent location on the lake - beautiful views of lake and mountains when having dinner / breakfast. Friendly staff - but could be more attentive to customers needs in the restaurant.
However, our room was not in main part of Lodge and this was inconvenient when going for dinner and breakfast as it was raining. It would have been nice to know this in advance.
