Gurnee is cool with the mall and so many other options nearby. However it can get somewhat crowded especially close to the holidays or rush hour and have lots of traffic.

"My partner and I had a great stay at Hotel Gurnee. We stayed at the property for one night while on a roadtrip. The hotel itself is modern with a stunning lobby and a large, well-lit parking lot. The staff at the property were very kind. When checking in, we asked the woman assisting us for the best places to get deep dish pizza in the area and her recommendations were spot on. The room we were provided was clean and spacious. I would recommend staying at Hotel Gurnee for a comfortable stay if you're in the area!"
