"If you’re thinking about it, do it!! Perfect location for day trips, everything is about 30 minutes away. Once here though you do not want to leave. Morning sunrises on the property with coffee were stunning. We looked forward to that everyday. Owner was quick to respond to needs/questions! Only complaint is house gets very warm, even with A/C split running but would still stay again. It was that wonderful! We just spent most of our time on the gorgeous front lanai! Mahalo! "

"We had a great 7 night stay! It was a convenient location for visiting the Hilo area and Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Spacious, clean and the AC was great. Highly recommended!"

"This home offers stunning ocean cliff views and dramatic sunrises that far exceed what the photos capture. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty. While the house itself is older and dated as you can see in the pictures, the breathtaking surroundings truly make it special.The pool was sparkling clean and a huge hit with our kids, especially with all the pool toys provided. There is not a shallow section for littles, maybe 4.5 to 5 ft deep, but ours were all good swimmers so not an issue for us. Communication was mixed—initial contact was slow and couldn’t answer questions about amenities, but the local contact was quick to respond and helpful. A few things to note:- The grill was a nice surprise, though the propane tank was empty and we were expected to fill it. In past stays that included a grill, it has always been ready for use.- There weren’t enough beach towels for our group, and essentials like a cooler and blender were missing which are commonly included items at a location with a pool and beaches nearby.- Grocery stores and restaurants are roughly a 30-minute drive, so plan ahead if proximity is important.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return—the views alone make this home unforgettable! "Home was amazing! If we could give it 10 stars we would. Stayed with family for a wedding. We all had different arrival dates but as soon as each party arrived at the home, they were in awe. We mostly enjoyed hanging out in the back patio, doing some bbq and just appreciating the house.There was something for everyone to do from the board games, the gym, even just lounging in front of the tv with the surround sound and more. Washer & dryer were a plus. Host was very responsive. Thank you Tony! My family and I have all agreed that this would be our forever home in Hilo!dommoseespeciallyen"

"Family had a great time staying at Tony and Samira's Farm. They were super friendly and communicative. Kids loved the farm atmosphere with chickens, sheep, goats, and lots of lizards.They were so thoughtful as to notify us of the volcano eruption happening and we were lucky enough to catch this event!"
