"Kept awake all night by alarm going off every 5 minutes in the room next door. Reception did not answer our internal call. Got a reply when I used my mobile. A staff member knocked on the door, when he heard the alarm. Then contacted his manager, who arranged a phone call to the room. Alarm continued. Second staff member then contacted his manager "to ask what to do". Another phone call resulted in alarm being switched off at 05.40 am. The two staff members conversed in Spanish, only speaking English when addressing me. At 07.15am, housekeeping banging doors and moving trolleys, including recycling bins outside our door. An expensive night from Hell. At Reception on leaving I was given an email address, location Spain, to communicate my issues. No one with the authority to address the situation."
