The location of the property was very convenient for traveling by foot toward the city center, and I think this was the most pleasant aspect.
I had a challenging stay at the property– the bed was uncomfortable with springs poking toward the top of the mattress, it is perhaps not the best place for someone with allergies to stay as there was a musty aroma, and the most difficult aspect was the plumbing. The layout of the bathroom shower was unnerving, as there is no partition or any divider on the flat tile floor between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom. When I took a shower and then stepped out from the curtain, I saw that the bathroom and hallway had flooded. It was a surprising, unpleasant way to start my trip. When reception came up to help with the situation and bring towels, they made an assumption that I must have covered the drain with a bath mat for the flooding to have occurred, which was not the case. It was clear that the drainage could not keep pace with the water pressure and this, in combination with the layout of the bathroom, made for a pretty unpleasant experience. On a less important (but still slightly irritating note), the tv in the hotel had a small selection of channels, most of which were fuzzy... so tv as an amenity did not end up panning out as a way to relax after the frustrating shower situation.
On a different note, Johnny in reception was brilliant and helpful in providing information about how to get around.
