"This home is a great destination for a family or friends getaway! There’s plenty of space to gather, relax, and make memories. The beds were super comfortable, sleeping arrangements were plentiful, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and clean up. The hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy! Although we didn’t use the lake equipment, it was nice knowing it was available.You can tell this is a popular and well-loved property, but some areas could use additional attention. We noticed scuff marks and smudges on the walls and floors, stained towels, significant dust buildup on the high ceiling fans, and quite a few flies inside. There was also a tarp covering one window, a taped-off door in another room, and visible holes in some exterior panels. While these issues didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay, more thorough cleaning and maintenance would really elevate the experience.Access was easy, and the host was informative, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time! This home has so much to offer and is a great setting for bringing loved ones together. With a little extra attention to upkeep, it could be even better. We would definitely recommend it and happily stay again!"

"This was a girl's trip for 5, 60yrs ladies. Because of who we are we had a great time! We can't party like we used to, so the noise ordinances did not affect us. Younger folks might have an issue with it. Very quiet area. The lake view did not disappoint. The weather was not good for us so we weren't able to use the lake or any water toys (:. The listing indicated there was a fireplace which there is not. Disappointing because it Would have been nice because of the weather (damp, rainy, windy. ) within 10 minutes to shopping, eateries, etc. So that was nice. It didn't bother us but I would suggest getting a better cleaning service. The listing said no pets but other have definitely been pets here!"

"This property was perfect for our sisters' weekend away. It's tucked back in the woods so nice and private. The home was clean, and appeared to be well maintained. Plenty of beds for 6 of us to sleep in separate beds. Kitchen had a lot of dinnerware, cookware, utensils, small appliances, etc. Plenty of seating around the table and in the living room area. We ate out on the patio, had a bonfire, & walked the trails. We went to a nice restaurant in Friendship called A Family Affair and we also walked trails at the Roche-A-Cri State Park. Owner was responsive to any questions. Overall a great stay at this property and would definitely stay again."

"Our group of 5 couples 10 people stayed here and were very comfortable. The accomodations are very nice. The kitchen area has a very large island perfect for preparation and serving large meals. The light switches were all nicely labled eliminating the hunt and search for which switch lights which area. The number of bathrooms and showers was plenty. I just can't say enough good things about this listing."
