The room was beautiful and it was fairly close to the ferry. Unfortunately, even though we had our own ensuite bathroom, our bedroom connected to a bathroom that served other rooms. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Jess on reception was really helpful as was one of the male staff in the restaurant in particular, I think his name was Adam, but I am not sure. Sadly the pool was shut for maintenance.

Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. Historic town with a lot of navy history but not huge amount to do other than wander & fairly nice beach ideal for small kids ,town shops all a bit tired . Old sea fort & redoubt are interesting to look around
