"Have stayed here a few times and was amazed with the room yet again. We have a beautiful room with views on both dire lions over the estuary, the bath was the perfect thing to improve the room and having time to soak and relax. "

"An excellent modern hotel with unbelievably helpful and friendly staff. Our room was well equipped with a comfortable bed. There was a very good breakfast. We also had a couple of dinners at the hotel restaurant. The food was expensive but very good. Portions were however a little on the small size. The hotel had plenty of parking and was an easy walk into the centre of St Daivid’s. A much longer walk would lead you down to a little sandy bay. . "

"I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. Early morning coffee I could take on a walk, move cars so mine could charge up, move tables so I could get a great view ( their idea not mine). As a woman travelling on her own, hotels can be daunting, unfriendly and difficult to navigate. Not this one! Yes my room was a tad noisy (but their website did warn of this) and I had to share a bathroom; I didn’t care a doodle! I will definitely be back! "

"If you like hotels with character then this the place for you. The Mariner's is 400 years old this year. I've known this building since i was a child and i absolutely love staying here."

"It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. "This property was lovely, a 2 bed cottage sat at the back of a farm. Lot of amenities such as washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle, hoover and a electric clothes dryer that came in very handy due to the rain. The grounds are lovely, there are 2 paths to walk, a costal path and a circular. There are notes around the cottage with very clear instructions on how to use the appliances. There are numerous heaters situated throughout the cottage for colder months. There is also a beautiful wood burner. This cottage is very rural so you will definitely need to have a car for transport. Beautiful surroundings of fields and mountains and not far from the beach. Overall a wonderful stay, would highly recommend."
