I would happily stay at The Newtown Hotel again. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. Although we did not have dinner in the hotel restaurant, the buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice.

A lovely hotel and I’d definitely stay again. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The air conditioning in the room was broken but they did provide a fan. Also there was a problem with the TV which needs replacing.

Flawless accommodation and extremely welcoming. We arrived quite late from Caen ferry but communications drom the hotel were excellent. Extremely comfortable room, great night's sleep. The breakfast was really good, generous and served with a smile.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, e.g. with taxi recommendations. Basic breakfast buffet, but does the job. Room was fairly small. Ours had cracked tiles in the bathroom and cobwebs in two places. When they knocked on, we asked the cleaner to come back in 10 minutes as we were about to leave. But even though they were doing the room next door when we left, they never returned and cleaned our room.

I stayed at Newton House Hotel for 2 nights with the partner whilst she recovered from a procedure. In short, it's great & I'd definitely come back. The location is great, quiet, a short walk from the seafront & right on the road in/off the Island. Parking is free & plentiful & the grounds are lovely, with gardens & lots of nice spots. The room was nice, clean & comfortable with a good bathroom. The service was great but the highlight is the bar & restaurant. Breakfast is included free & is restaurant quality, the best I've come across. The main restaurant menu is very good, homemade & delicious. We ate in both nights & really enjoyed it. Five stars throughout, I can't recommend it highly enough.
