"Lovely hotel, food / restaurant excellent, pool excellent, spa and jacuzzi very good - only slight issues were WIFI in my particular room was very intermittent and also the toilet was rather small and inaccessible for myself as inbetween wall and bath and not much room for me being a large fella!!"
"Lovely beer garden with the option to eat meals in the beer garden
Parking was a bit hit and miss as there are a lot of rooms and not a lot of parking spaces
Staff were very friendly and meals very good
Accommodation was very comfortable and rooms were quiet
Highly recommended"
"Lovely house with great facilities- has everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay. Quiet area but easy access to North Yorks Moors and other local attractions. "
"We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus.
The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk.
We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "
"The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting...
"Very beautiful surroundings, the shepherd’s hut is well situated for travelling around the moors. The hut is perfect, very clean and well designed space. It had everything I needed and more "

Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Feversham Arms. This is one of the most welcoming hotels. Staff are friendly and always great you with a smile and meet your needs on every request. The spa is wonderful, we used the facilities each day of our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated in Helmsley. It is opposite the Cleveland way, we walked to Rievaulx Abbey and back with was a lovely walk. Our Anniversary dinner was excellent, the flavours popped in your mouth and the whole culinary experience was unforgettable. A little jewel of a find, one we would certainly revisit. "

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful, very comfortable, well appointed house in lovely market town. Two minutes from square with restaurants, coffee shops and bars and yet in such a peaceful setting with a lovely private sun trap back garden. Such a good point of access to moors, country villages and coast. A lovely host too, It’s a winner!"
"When we arrived on 4th Aug there was a disgusting smell in the main bedroom and on the landing. We had to sleep in the smaller bedroom. We rang the host team on Tuesday am, they said they would send a maintenance team out. Nobody came Tuesday, messaged them again, same answer. After messaging them several times with no result we left the property early. They say they are investigating , we are still waithing. We want compensating for a holiday ruined . I would not recommend this house to anyone."
"Only has likes. Staff were all brilliant. They were helpful, obliging and keen to do a good job.
Room was well appointed, and the beds were super comfortable."
