"The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! "

"Such a beautiful village and the location was just perfect for visiting Ilkley Moor and Bolton Abbey.The property where we stayed was very nice, immaculately clean and everything supplied even milk and orange juice in the fridge. I would highly recommend staying here."

"The cottage was cosy and comfortable and located in a beautiful spot with fabulous views. Check-in was easy with a key safe for the key. A lovely welcome hamper was most appreciated. The cottage has all you need for a stay and is well equipped. The evenings were a bit chilly but the heaters soon warmed the place up. The upstairs bedroom is fully carpeted with king sized bed. We slept very well! It’s a bit tight getting to the right side though but we managed ok. In the morning you are greeted at the kitchen window by a horse or two! It was great to be able to take our little dog with us but not having a chance to meet Sophie we weren’t sure where the allocated garden area was. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return, hopefully not in pouring rain like this time! "

"Acorn Cottage was the perfect choice. Warm and cosy and it is in a delightful setting with fabulous views to the front and perfectly located for many of Yorkshire attractions such as Grassington and Kettlewell. I had a delightful stay and was sorry to leave. The cottage was spotlessly clean and has all that you would require in facilities for a perfect and restful stay. Susanne and Peter were most welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. They both assisted me above and beyond when I had a problem regarding my hire car and made every effort to help me resolve the issue. I could not have found a better cottage for my stay and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday cottages in the Skipton area."

"We were a family group of five adults staying in the farmhouse for a weekend, whilst attending a family wedding at the Tithe Barn. The house is warm, comfortable and well equipped. The views from the house are spectacular and we enjoyed walks down to the abbey and river. It is located a short drive to Ilkley and some lovely villages with great places to eat. A lot of thought has gone into the house to make it a fantastic home from home. We would love to have stayed longer and would definitely recommend it."
