"Although we did spend a bit more on a room in the castle it was worth every penny The room was large and spotless and all of the service we received was excellent from every member of the staff nothing was ever to much trouble and they were always on hand to help The food was excellent quality and well cooked It’s set in beautiful grounds and I would not hesitate to book again If you feel like treating yourself book a few days at this hotel you won’t be disappointed "

"I loved staying here. If you’re looking for the authentic British village experience this is it. Rooms are above the local village pub, the locals and staff are all friendly (as I left the bar everyone said good night to me) and the dinner was delicious pub fare. My only critique is that the continental breakfast leaves much to be desired and there’s no place to get a coffee before 830 (a shop up the street) and for an early riser like me that was a bummer.
