High River Holidays

Hotel room itself was very nice. We were given an option to have a nightcap drink or breakfast. We chose a breakfast. When we went to the restaraunt with our voucher, there were several tables open but we had to wait for a host to meet us and seat us. The wait was at least 15 minutes before she arrived and then we were told our further wait would be another 10 to 20 minutes.We left hungry as we had to get on the road for our next destination. The staff at the hotel desk basiclly shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry". Won't try and have breakfast there again. Very disappointed.

The property seemed to be remodeled in recent years, and while the inside of the property had a nice look there was a slight odor on the 2 floors that i went on and in the elevators. The hallways smelt like fabulosa was sprayed on the carpet to cover up things. The room in itself was fine but didnt seem it had been thouroughly cleaned and maintained. The toilet paper holder was very loose on the wall like it could fall off and the return air vents had not be cleaned in a while and were covered in dust.
