"We booked this stay for our anniversary, and the experience was very disappointing. At check-in, we were told there was no parking near our building due to events and were directed to a distant grass lot. We were also charged an unexpected $39 “lodge fee” that wasn’t disclosed at booking. The desk clerk gave us incorrect directions to our room. After walking around with our luggage and carrying it up stairs (no elevator), we still couldn’t find it. Calls to the office went unanswered. Eventually, another employee told us we were in the wrong building. Frustrated, we decided not to stay. When we returned, we were told the mistake was due to being directed to the wrong building—but we would still forfeit the cost of the room. Expedia has been unable to reach the property, and we’ve received no follow-up after 4 days. Overall, a disorganized and frustrating experience, especially for a special occasion."

"The host was excellent with communication and very kind. The cabin was clean and tidy! Very comfortable couch and bed. Sounds of the creek were very relaxing. The hot tub was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Wonderful fire pit area as well. Highly recommend this location."

"Host offered us an upgrade to a bigger cabin closer to town on the side of Bell Mountain. The view was stunning. Super close to town but was totally isolated from neighbors. Peaceful and very quiet. Amazing amenities and super clean interior. And the host was just amazing. Karen checked on us to make sure all was well and provided great tips for the area. Very appropriate her attention to detail and great customer service."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this river cabin! The hot tub was great, it was very clean and we had zero issues with it. We used it every night! We were a bit thrown off by the cabin being in a neighborhood, but it was totally fine. There are neighbors close, but we had no issues with noise or disturbance of any kind. I made several meals in the kitchen and was pleased to find I had all the pans/untensils needed, and the grill was easy to use and propane was provided. Our beds were comfortable, the AC was cold, the place was clean...we really enjoyed our stay! Our recommendation is head to Hiawasee Brewery! We went there a couple times, the food is made from scratch and is delicious, and their craft beer is great too. We also loved visiting the local gardens, and utilized the pickle ball courts in town. I had very little communication with the host, but that was mostly due to us not needing assistance with anything. :) "
