"Willene, the host was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, it rained the entirety of our stay so we were unable to fully enjoy the river but it was beautiful and I’m sure we would have enjoyed spending time there if it wasn’t raining so much! Our grandchildren stopped by and were able to enjoy the river for a bit! We did visit Helen, Georgia on one day and on our last night there we had dinner at Hiawassee Brew. The food was really good and the ciders and beers were tried were all amazing! I’m sure we would stay there again in the future."

"The cabin was much larger and quite quaint. And the view of the waterfall was amazing and soothing while listening to the rain and the falls. Could use an update on patio furniture as we spent most of our time there. Hiawassee is a wonderful little town with some cool General Stores and Antique shops. My biggest complaint is the place was not cleaned before we got there. The bathroom was very dirty and the outside patio needs a thorough cleaning also"

"Our stay at Nana B's was our first outing as a family since the birth of our second child, and it was well worth it. The property was clean and kid friendly, so we didn't have any reservations about letting our children explore the space. In addition to the listed amenities, she also has toys and games on the property suitable for small children and toddlers. The drive in to the property once you get off the main road is gorgeous, taking you through pastures and up the side of the mountain until you finally reach the cabin tucked into the side of the hill. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and the road allows for walks to better take in the scenic beauty of the surrounding area and mountain views. Check in was easy and any time I had a question, the host would almost immediately respond with helpful and accurate info. The cabin itself also had a collection of informative brochures and pamphlets for local destinations and attractions. Our times at Nana B's were some of the best we've had since our family became complete, and we are looking forward to staying there again for as long as it is available to us!"

"This cabin has a wonderful view. I liked having a big yard to walk my dogs and the gravel road was also easy walking. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative in my opinion is the stone steps to the lower level and no door at the top of the stairs, but there was a baby gate to put up for safety. The property was spotless. I have booked many,many times with Karen and Vince. They are easy to reach and very responsive."

"The listed picture of the back firepit area is not the same. The area was under construction. There was debris everywhere, screws all over the place, unfinished stairs leading down to the fire pit area, large nails, scrap metal in the front, paint cans in the bushes, and very unsafe for family or pets. Called Vacasa and notified them of conditions and safety concerns, sent pictures of issue. No call, response from an owner or someone to correct the problems."

"Cabin is very nice with plenty of room.It was very relaxing and my husband enjoyed fishing in the river out back.My husband had a question for the owner and he returned his call within a few minutes.I highly recommend staying there!"
