"Willene’s cabin has everything you could possibly need and she is extremely accommodating and will make sure your stay is amazingly perfect. You are close to so many wonderful adventures and the beautiful mountains. Truly loved the cabin and the view is so peaceful and beautiful. I mean a waterfall as you sit on the porch listening to the water and the birds. Nature at its best absolutely peaceful as God’s slice of Heaven. I was taught to leave the place better than you found it. My only regret is we didn’t get to meet sweet Willene in person so I hope to return for another vacation getaway. "This was a fantastic weekend getaway from Atlanta! Perfect for our family of 4 - 2 parents and two 20 y/o's. Hot tub was so welcome after the hikes. Thoughtful touches like leaving a square of aluminum foil and 1-2 ziplocs were much appreciated. The number on the cabin says 55 instead of 85, so that was the only hiccup - but once we realized the code worked, we figured it out. Comfortable beds, working WiFi and TV, heat/cool works great and wonderful communication with rental crew. Note that there are no toiletries provided (shampoo, soap) - not a problem, just plan ahead! Great location and private. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Big Bear Lodge. From the beginning Stacy reached to make sure everything was as we expected. House was clean, well supplied and comfortable. The house provided the best of both worlds for visiting Helen. Just a couple of minutes into town. So if you want to enjoy Helen and be able to come back to a peaceful and comfortable home to relax, this place checks all the boxes."

"The cabin was the cutest with its decor, cleanliness and was centrally located to town. We did gem mining, and visited the Bavarian Town in Helen, Ga with its little shops, beer gardens and lovely live music. Some of our friends and family hiked some of the Appalchian Trail. Our host was very generous with wood for the firepit and sent us ideas for our stay."
