This was a very dated hotel, there was a lot of small things that added up. The check in process was to be handed a card and some vague directions, we then had to go back as "there is a knack" to opening the door she then demonstrated, ripped and old furniture out side the door. A shower that the door bangs on the sink when you open it. No hair dryer. We woke in the morning- early becouse the broken blind let in all the light with no idea what time breakfast was, this isnt on the web site, no welcome pack in the room and as stated it was more of been handed a card as check in. So becouse there was only 2 small sachets of milk in the room for tea making and 1 glass we went out to a coffee shop to get a drink, we then couldnt get back in the building becouse the swipe to the out side door didnt work, after 10 minutes of trying it and knocking we went back out for another coffee untill there was life in the place. On our return it appeared breakfast was running so we went in to the restaurant and were told there was no option for a cooked breakfast it was just if you wanted one, so we had one but it was a poor and limited breakfast, 1 sausage 1 egg dont like beans so they were left, no tomatoes ect no choice of fruit juice just orange, tea was stewed in a comunal pot no choice of other teas. There were some good points the bed was comfortable and the location was great but for the cost £175 per night would not return
