Lots of eating places in Alnwick and a Morrisons just across the road if you want to eat in. Alnwick castle was just a few minutes walk. Would definitely book again"

"Beautiful home on the waterfront. Walking distance to M&S/ASDA and the train station. On the Coastal Path for a run or walk of a distance of your choosing. We stayed at the start of December, and the decorations were great (and also optional). Kitchen well stocked with trays & pans for home cooking. Easy communication with the owner. No complaints!"

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. "The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. Definitely going back, need to suss the bath as couldn't get hot water but this was an "us" fault not there's as we are rubbish with reading instructions. The only let down to our weekend was...

"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
