Awesome place
The place was super clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host responded quickly for any questions we had. The kayaking along the river was so awesome. We would definitely stay again!!

It's a waterfront! Bonus - it's cute and very clean.
Our air was out at home, so we found this place about 15 minutes from our house. The air conditioner did not disappoint; the rest of the place was just as good. It's very clean, cute, and has everything you should need already there, except the chef. Lol. We couldn't get the TV/cable to come on and the hosts called us immediately to help solve the problem. Nothing was wrong with either, the last guest just plugged it back up wrong after connecting one of their devices. I'd stay again without a doubt. You can fish right from the backyard! Thank you for being great hosts!

Someone did this place in such good taste. Has everything we needed. Great location. Feels like real Florida. The "Chaz" river is such a unique natural space. We loved it.

Nice Property, Even Better Host
Nice home, very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Marni is responsive and caring, there were a couple little things that she took care of immediately, couldn't ask for more. We enjoyed our month in Homosassa immensely. We got some tips on local places to eat from a friend of Marni's & they were very good. If staying in the area, don't miss Kim's, Art's Diner & Two Guys From Italy... great food from locals. Many thanks for everything!

Loved the Wildlife
Had a wonderful stay, property was as described. Had a small issue with Wi-Fi when we arrived was addressed and fixed ASAP. A small alligator hung out across the way most days, a beautiful hawk came 3 days in a row landed within 10 feet from us and the best was when we went kayaking was able to see two momma manatees and their babies. Definitely would stay again.

Relaxing Getaway for a girl's weekend
My girlfriend and I arrived a day late due to a bad storm. We didn't want to chance traveling in bad weather but arrived on Sat which was sunny and cool. The home was perfect for just the 2 of us with every imaginable kitchen appliance and utensil you could possibly need.. It was comfortable and very clean and the yard and dock area were well maintained .A great quiet neighborhood to walk my dog was a bonus. We enjoyed exploring the area too which offered so many interesting activities especially on the river...All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway ! The weather was awesome and the friendly next door neighbor helped with directions .. Thank you Marni !

No coffee
It was a very clean and comfortable place. It was a surprise that they did not have coffee specially in such a remote place. They have stub that is very small and no way to shower other than the faucet. The shower was also very small and short in a cute way. Thor than that it was very nice.

I am glad you had a nice time. We have a coffee pot in the house. There is a coffee shop in the supermarket at the end of the road. You can also purchase coffee at the campground. Yes, the shower is smaller but absolutely has a showerhead for showering.

Wry nice!
I really enjoyed the quite and the accommodation’s. The high speed internet was perfect because I was working and not on vacation. It never failed me. It had everything I needed. I would stay here again but since most of my clients were about an hour away or more, next year I will have to choose a different location. My Dad loved going down to the launch every day to get free coffee and watch for the manatees. Very nice place. Sonia

Sparkling clean!
Even with a couple of rainy days, we enjoyed our time here. The interior was immaculately clean, up dated and had everything we could have needed. Owners were responsive when we had a minor problem with the grill. It was interesting to look out at the canal, saw lots of turtles, some fish, and even a small alligator! We just gave him his space, and he gave us ours. There can be gators everywhere in Florida. We kayaked from a launch just around the corner, and at Three Sisters Springs, which was gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves! All in all, a nice, pet friendly place!

Had a great time showing our little girl (8yrs) all the springs, rivers, creeks and wildlife the preserve has to offer. Would highly recommend if you are into natural Florida beauty or just to relaxing. Loved every minute of your stay. Will definitely stay again

Wonderful Stay on the Chassahowitzka!
We honestly had a phenomenal time. The listing was exactly as posted. The home and decorations are wonderful and make for a very relaxed and comfortable stay. It was just my hubby and my little brother and are two small puppies. We had more then enough room. We had one minor issue with a shower handle and the communication back and forth with the owner was amazing, quick, and very pleasant. There are two very nice kayaks to use but we brought our own. Both days we put in right from the dock in the back and kayaked up to the Chassahowitzka. It was an adventurous path but make sure you kayak up to "Chaz's Crack". Overall we had an amazing time. We did leave a deck of Uno Cards so think of us if you are at the cabin! We really had a GREAT time!

Great stay just thing.
We had a great stay here and our puppies loved walking on the new dock, every day, multiple times a day. The house was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and I loved the pots and pans. I did get bit by horse flies (4) so definitely take bug spray. We locked the doors when we left but came back 1 day to the back door being ajar. Nothing was missing, pretty sure it's just the back door that doesn't shut right therefore it's not 100 % secure. We had to shut the door harder than we're used to, it would close properly then. Besides that, we had a great stay!

This place is awesome! Used the kayaks to explore the river, watch the manatees, fish, swim, and enjoy the scenery. Made it to The Crack! Grilled out steaks, relaxed on the back porch, and fell asleep in a beautiful bed with immaculate white sheets and spread! Like sleeping in the clouds!

Just what the doctor ordered
Overall this was a great place! Clean, easy to get to and in and out of. The kayaks were so much fun to take out on the river! Little things like the only shower being in the "master," no full length mirrors (we ladies need to see it all), no smart TV and the cable didn't seem to want to let us watch anything. The livingroom isn't really set up for conversing so we spent a lot of time on the porch. There's no complaining though! We loved it and had a fantastic visit!

Perfect short stay
We enjoyed our stay, the kayaks were nice to take out and explore. We saw a manatee with its baby while kayaking. One of the paddles for the kayaks was broken and Marni had us two others from neighbors within 30 mins. The house was clean and the backyard was a nice secluded area. The only complaint we have is the screened in porch allowed smoking and we don’t smoke so we didn’t really spend anytime in there because the smell was too much for us but we did enjoy sitting outside and down by the water. The dock looks brand new and is in great shape. Marni was quick to respond to us and we would definitely stay again.

Great Spot Right by the Springs
Very happy with our stay. Marni was a great host and gave us suggestions for places to eat and boat charters to go scalloping. Very clean property with a great location right on the canals that lead to the Chaz and it’s springs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place
The trailer was very clean, neat & organized (kitchen dishes, towels, etc). It was just right for my boyfriend, myself & our two dogs. We were there to scallop & go paddle boarding In the Chassahowitzka & Weeki Wachee Rivers. It was comforting knowing our dogs were safe & content while we were away. The neighbors are very friendly, we spoke most days. Absolutely no complaints-Would highly recommend this rental! Thank you for accepting our reservation! 👍👍

Marni's property was cute and clean. It was perfect for a little weekend get away on the river. The kayaks were very nice and it took us about 30-40 minutes to paddle to Seven Sisters Spring (we don't kayak often, so we went pretty slow). The backyard was under construction, which would of been nice to know before booking but the dock was still usable so it wasn't a big deal. The porch smelled like smoke, but after opening the windows it aired out. The house did not smell like smoke at all and was very clean. I would recommend this house if you are looking to check out Seven Sisters Spring/the Chaz.

Very clean, very nice home! I felt very welcome and comfortable. Beds we very comfortable, bathrooms had everything you needed, great space on the water, boat dock was awesome to be able to use. Some outlets didn't work and there is a camera in the living room. But I wasn't bothered by it much but wish we knew about it first. A little strange.
