"This cabin is the perfect location when visiting Black Mountain. Comfortable beds, cozy den and good outside space made our stay enjoyable. Located in a neighborhood, it was very quiet and close to downtown. I would definitely recommend. "

Accommodations were rustic and simple, but very clean and comfortable, conducive for a welcome slower pace and break from an overly connected/digital lifestyle. "The cabin was as listed and the cabin owners were friendly and informative. Property was perfect for our needs of being able to have a base camp while we dropped our kids off at college. The fire pit was used and we enjoyed the space of the living room in order to have some friends over as well so everyone could feel comfortable. The only challenging part of the property is the driveway during the summer. It's fine, but I can only imagine that it's a little bit challenging. During the winter it wasn't unmanageable, but it was definitely a unique experience. Were able to see wildlife while we were there and the town is so amazing both Black mountainand montreat. The book that the family left for us gave great directions for some amazing trails and hiking experiences. "
