"Arrival was pain free, directions given were spot on. Pet friendly with a pretty lake to walk around to actually stretch the dog's legs. Staff were very welcoming. The apartment faced over fields, with birdlife aplenty. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in for a long time. The shower is larger than expected and works very well, hot water in abundance. The best thing for me is the peace and quiet due to the location. There was a hob, kettle, toaster and a microwave that we didn't use, but would make a multi-day stay more convenient. Can recommend as a place to stay."

"We booked last minute and this was no problem. Very easy self check in. There are spaces for 5 cars around the back so we managed to get parked. The room was very nice and clean apart from some dusty areas (windowsill, divan base) but had no impact. The room had everything youd need - fan, kettle, fridge, hairdryer, iron. Also had complementory tea, coffee, biscuits and water. The breakfast was very nice, plenty to choose from. The breakfast staff lady was lovely, helpful & constantly doung something. Check out was also very easy. Would stay again if back in the area. "

"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"

"We had a lovely stay overall and would definitely come back. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. Breakfast was especially gorgeous and a real highlight. There were just a few things that took the shine off a little. The toilet wasn’t as clean as we’d have expected, and the bath drain seemed blocked, so the water backed up while we were standing in the shower. On the Friday night, there was also an incredibly noisy group in the restaurant who were clearly disturbing other guests, but no one seemed to ask them to calm down. We could still hear them later in the bar and even up in our room. That said, we did really enjoy it and would love to return, especially if those little issues could be sorted next time."

"Staff really friendly, we had a small issue where the room was cold, and without hesitation we had a free upgrade to a larger room, and was really looked after. Will stay there again for sure."
