Ibsley Holidays

The room was OK but the bath had chips/damage to the bottom. Shower worked ok the first morning, but this morning we could not get any hot water to come out of the shower. The bath tap worked ok but the water was not getting through to the shower. As it was Christmas, there were not any staff about in the hotel part and I did not have time to go searching or to wait for someone to fix the problem. I was not willing to take a bath instead due to the damage to the bath, which I understand could have held bacteria. Very disappointing and spoiled the stay.

We have now stayed 3 times here and each stay previous was excellent, however despite the reasons below we will still use this hotel for our visits to Basingstoke. Prices are always excellent, staff are helpful and friendly the actual building is sound and not hard to get around but this visit was a little different, the bed had no substance to speak of it was wafer thin and later during the night thetv reception was cutting out constantly so we had to use our phones for that couple of hours of entertainment. We did reception on our way out who said we should have come to them and s room change could have been organised, we never thought of this as the first night we went to bed late same on the second also so we didywant yo kick up a fuss, so fair play if we feel it's not right we have been given an option, thanks to reception for letting us know and see you again soon.

Situated in a nice setting. Friendly helpful staff. I think facilities were adequate. We enjoyed our stay and likely to book again.

Excellent Staff. Very Welcoming. Room Dated but spotless. Lots of parking. Only thing not giving 5 Stars is the Commmon areas and Bathroom very dated. Carpets very worn in places. Some refurbishment underway . Location Excellent. No hesitation in recommending.
