My room was in the rear corner away from both roads, so was wonderfully quiet. Everyone there was wonderful, it was great to hang out in the garden and the bar. Terrific stay!

Beautiful property and really friendly owners. Great base for going out and exploring the local area. Great for Glen free in the morning at breakfast.

The property and our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was super but most of all, the proprietors were faultless. Very pleasant, and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you both for a lovely stay.

Lovely house
Lovely property and very clean, spacious and comfortable room. A great period property Breakfast was great. Location ideally suited, just out of the hussle and bustle of town but can easily walk into Ilfracombe in 10-15 mins. Would definitely stay again

Great stay
We styed for 2 nights at Cairn House. The owners were very welcoming and happy to share local information, ie local walks. The room was clean, comfy had plenty of room and even a sea view. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food, with the hot food cooked to order. It was a short walk to the town centre. Would stay again if visiting Ilfracombe

Friendly hosts with clean and modern rooms. Ilfracombe Harbour is a 20mins walk, alternatively there is bus stop outside. Great Breakfast, catered for different needs, good position for start of different hiking routes.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cairn House. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom had a really good shower an the breakfast was excellent, with good quality ingredients. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely break
Stayed for two nights on our way to Cornwall. Room clean and tidy, hosts were really friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to go. Breakfast was excellent with dietary needs looked after. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

Lovely stay at Cairn House.
We were very pleased with our family room. We checked in an hour early and check-in was very easy. We didn’t request a view but we could see the sea if we stood and looked out of the side bay. Our hostess was very welcoming but not intrusive - we saw her at check-in and then at breakfast. Our teen didn’t come down to breakfast so we were kindly made a Nutella sandwich (our choice) and a glass of juice to take up to the room. The choice at breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but we would recommend for a night or longer.

With a warm welcome and not put off by my many stupid questions, the couple who run this b&b were endlessly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, the breakfast was brilliant. The highest praise I can give is that we would definitely stay there again.

Well located on a hill side, with nice views. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The owners are very efficient, professional, warm and caring, putiing the guests first. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location for the beach front (a few minutes drive or can walk or take the bus if preferred). Information leaflets were available about areas of interest.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely the rooms were clean and it is on a bus route, which was very handy if you didn’t want to walk into the town.

Myself and my family were really impressed. The staff were all great and really welcoming. The location is lovely and the room was lovely also, very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great also! Would definitely recommend!

We had a pleasant stay. The accommodation is spotless and the bed linen and towels were quality items. Personally we prefer bigger beds but we cannot fault the friendly service and good breakfast. Host made a restaurant booking and taxi too. Recommended!
