This was a wonderful stay. The hostess was so very kind and helpful. I loved sitting out front and enjoying the beautiful scenery. There are restaurants and shops not too far, but the best part was the walk to the loch!Highly recommend!
Absolutely comfortable room located about 10 minutes outside of the main Inverness area. Quiet and peaceful. Parking onsite and safe to walk around the area.
I liked that it had easy parking and a front area with a picnic table. The room was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was shared, but we didn't feel like it was an issue.
Aslaich was like a home away from home. A cosy room with ensuite in a house with 3 other rooms. No kitchen access which would have been nice but over all a pleasant stay.
Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious.
A lovely little B&B, a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and its very close to loch ness and Urquhart castle. A little strange to have the bathroom across the hall but it was private clean and lockable so cant complain.
We were a family of 3 and only stayed for one night, the place is very clean and Sarah had attended to all our query.
The only thing I didn't expect was the toilet, I was expecting it to be an on-suite one but it didnt really bother us as it was very clean.
Thanks.

Liked: Cleanliness
The heating was rarely on and there was no way of turning it on, so it was very cold, but otherwise it was a nice little place. It was a bit difficult without a car as there are no taxis and buses don’t come by often, but it is only about a 20 minute walk into the village, so that was only difficult when leaving with heavy luggage. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Scotland.
Had a lovely 3 day stay here after 10 days driving round the Scottish coastline. The area is beautiful and the accommodation was ideal for rest and relaxation. Tucked away from the main Hub of Loch Ness it was nice and quiet, clean and comfortable but was in easy walking distance of all the activities, bars and restaurants. A very informative welcome pack in the room gave us opening times and menus which was really useful. We had a twin room with private bathroom and there was also a lounge are with dining table, fridge and microwave which I think might have been available for guests to use but we didn't as we weren't absolutely sure, maybe host could add some info on this to the welcome pack. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend
This is a very tranquil, lovely property, close to Loch Ness and its shops and attractions, but away from the crowds. Loch Ness is not visible from the property itself, but is very conveniently close by.
We felt welcomed, and enjoyed the home-like atmosphere. The room and bathroom were very well-planned and full of thoughtful little additions, such as the makeup light over the sink, the cups and saucers and kettle, the perforated hanging basket in the shower for soaps and supplies to be close at hand whilst showering, etc.
The one aspect that was not ideal for the two of us was the bed…it felt rather hard, to us. We realize, however, that a firmer bed may suit many of you.
The back garden was well-cared-for and pleasant to look out at. Also, there was a room set aside for guests to prepare and eat foods they have brought along or ordered in….there is a microwave, and there are all kinds of useful items there for that purpose. What a great idea.
I’m glad we selected this lovely place to stay. It was a refreshing experience.
