The hotel is just 10 minutes from Central Station. A straight walk down Waterloo Road. For me check in was confusing. It’s the top of an old piano just before the bar. I was on the 1st Floor, but it was really quiet. The room…. The bed is either too big or the room (around the bed) too small. So cramped. I had a support pillar which severely restricted movement on one side. On the other side were (kitchen) cupboards six foot off the ground. You would easily knock your head if a six foot plus person. You had to limbo over the bed to put anything in the cupboards. The bathroom however was spacious and had a good shower, but the sink was so high. The corridor was the most spacious thing about the room. TV worked a treat. Kettle with tea and coffee. Lights - any of them - seem to flicker at times. It was an OK stay, but I wish I had returned to the Social Hub, the other side of Central Station. It was lovely. Hey ho, live and learn.
