"Great location, right downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very small as can be expected but the bed is very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was good, typical Scottish breakfast and at a good price of £14.95/person. The bathroom and shower were small but the shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed our stay."

"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied.
