"To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. "We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely quality of this B&B. Our room was very spacious, clean with modern facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful with prompt communication. There was plenty of free street parking very near the property. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of healthy options. "Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant.
