"They made it easy for our stay arrived earlier asked if we could check-in . Everything was perfect"

"Staff were super friendly and helpful."

"Hotel was wonderful and the price was so reasonable. It was in the middle of a quaint fortress old town just a couple of blocks from the Rhine River. It was super close to the train station. It made us feel like we were living 10 centuries ago but yet the hotel was totally updated and very comfortable. Would love to go back."

"The hotel location is central, very close to shops, restaurants, cafes. Staff are excellent, very helpful and very kind. Would stay here again when in town."

"Very clean room, a little TLC required (shower door was not on its rollers, now fixed by my husband). Great breakfast and wonderful eat-all-you-can Chinese Restaurant."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again."

"Lovely stay and everyone so helpful"

"Location is ideal for travellers, rooms are functional and clean. The food is delicious, esp. The buffets. The free EV charging points much appreciated"

"Great experience, wonderful staff, easy and cheap parking, great location, clean, comfortable beds"

"I really liked the place and I would definitely stay there again. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and the food was great."

"Excellent staff, very sweet. There was a shopping center right outside the hotel, very great experience. If I come back to Basel I will be staying here again"

"Very calm and nice stay"

"Staff members were great"

"Good hotel and good location I would stay here again"

"Beautiful hotel, great restaurant and fabulous staff."

"Very nice breakfast buffet Friendly stuff Amenities are very good Easy access to Basel Love to stay there again"

"Great location, clean room, excellent services and rich breakfast"

"All staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful. We had the 4 single bed room which was ideal for us."

"If you like trains this is the place. Great view of the trains from the balcony and started the day with an excellent cooked breakfast"

"It was value for money as a budget hotel. However whole building was designed for winter I believe. It’s not a liveable place in summer weather specially hot weather like this year (2026) without air conditioning. This was the main concern for me. Hotel staff have changed our fan, a better one, following my request to change the room."
