Holiday Homes in James Island

"Hotel is in a great location and easy to walk to local attractions. Upon arrival we were notified of a wedding being held below our window and that the music would stop @ 10 pm. While it did stop at the promised time, it was not the peaceful and relaxing overnight stay we would have preferred."

"room was clean,partial beach view,A/C was fine,coffe maker did not work well mentioned to front desk i did but was never changed .breakfast was very little put out in the morning .if you didnt make it early there was nothing left towards last hour .if you asked they said all they had for the day.surrounding area was pretty loud and parking was minimal we had to go on the overload lot which was a walk away."

"Clean room"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. We experienced several operational glitches. We left our room at 7am and we we returned at 3pm the room was not cleaned. At 11:45pm, the smoke alarm weak battery signal starting chirping and waking us up. It was fixed. At 7am our curtains automatically opened and woke us up, depriving us of 1-2 hours more sleep. The hotel seems to be slipping some since it was sold. "

"Great location right in the middle of everything and on the famous King street!! Beds were so comfortable and the staff was incredible. Only reason not 5 stars is because the double-bed room had the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen in my life. Toilet paper was literally under the pedestal sink and reachable from the toilet. Zero counter space. If you don’t care about that and that is can get slightly noisy outside at night, this is your place! Amazingly priced as well."

"This was a pretty basic hotel. It needed renovating. The paint was peeling on the floor of my shower pretty bad. I had no trash can at all in my room. There was something weird going on with the shower curtain and it wasn’t big enough to spread across the whole shower so bathroom floor always wet. My room had 1 window, I didn’t expect an ocean view necessarily, but the view from my window was right into the hallway where people walked, all I could see was the hallway wall. They only had blinds, no blackout curtains so the light from the hallway shined into the room all night. Overall mediocre place to stay. I will say the location was excellent, great beach area and popular restaurants directly next door. "
