"The hotel is clean, modern, and well-located, and the staff were great. However, for the price, it felt underwhelming. The renovation looks good visually, but many of the materials and finishes felt a bit cheap or superficial. Overall, it’s fine, but doesn’t quite justify the premium pricing."

"First & will def go back. The gentleman in the parking lot & valet parking had a warm welcoming. Short walk to the wharf was great. One suggestion is for coffee shop to have recycle cups so we don’t have to go Starbucks across the street. "

"We booked a 3 night stay in a Queen room upstairs. The decor and furnishings were nothing like as shown in the photos. Towels were stained & very old, as was the duvet cover & valance. Carpet extremely worn. Totally disappointed, we were looking forward to staying in a historic building. Wasted the best part of the afternoon unpacking then repacking to find somewhere else."

"Outstanding. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Yes the hotel is older and there is no elevator. So make sure your suitcase is light enough to carry up a narrow flight of stairs. BUT, the property is fantastic. Wine or champagne reception, a 100 million dollar view of the ocean, waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach made this a spot my wife and I will travel to again and again. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Well worth it."

"The property itself was really run down. Old carpets, unpleasant smell, room was below mid. No a/c so had to have the windows open which left zero privacy. Anyone walking by could see into the room. But the perks were it was right next to the beach, down the street from downtown and inexpensive. Parking was right in front. "

"Comfortable stay for our family of four. Our teens enjoyed the basketball and hoop and Velcro dart game. Bed was comfortable and furnished with good sheets and blankets. Centrally located with lots of great spots within walking distance. Host was very communicative and prompt with responses. Overall a great experience. "

"Parking for my can was on the street but I felt it was safe. I never met any staff. I called and they sent me a txt. I guess thats the modern way but I would have rather gotten to speak to someone in person "
