"Uns hat an der Rezeption ein junger männlicher Manager empfangen. Er war sehr angenehm, freundlich und höflich. Wir durften früher in unser Zimmer einchecken. Da wir zum ersten Mal in dieser Stadt waren, haben wir sehr viele hilfreiche Informationen bekommen. Nach dem Check-out konnten wir unser Gepäck noch für ein paar Stunden im Hotel lassen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den herzlichen Empfang."

"Very good spread on breakfast menu.Lots of choices though maybe a little bit pricey but worth it.Included minibar a plus.Room always clean. Close to walking distance attractions. "

"After our stay here the Inercity Hotel in Hamburg is one we would avoid in future. The check in area looks more like the reception for an office block and compares poorly to most of the hotels we've stayed in. They advertise a free local travel card which, when I stayed at another InterCity in a different place, was an actual card. This time I was informed that a QR code needed to be scanned and the hotel's loyalty scheme joined - at which point I gave up as I had no inclination to join the loyalty scheme or mess about trying to scan a code. When we got to the room and tried to log on to the hotel wi fi you again had to join the hotel loyalty scheme before being able to access the WiFi. Definitely not impressed. The bed was on the small size for two us (and I am slim) and had just two flat pillows. We encountered one of the hotel staff on our way out and requested two additional pillows but these never materialised. The television initially seemed to offer a number of channels but further investigation revealed most of them to be cable stations which could not be accessed. We were unable to find any sport or music channels. It was impossible to get an undisturbed nights sleep as the air conditioning/heating vents would periodically make strange noises even though the heating/fan did not appear to be switched on in the room."

"If you read my previous review on this hotel, you will probably be surprised that I returned. The management offered me their nicest room with the breakfast to try and compensate for my previous day. This room was clean, although two black towels were found behind a chair that were obviously nothing to do with the hotel. It was a bit weird sleeping in a round bed with the mirrors above it, one could only imagine that it was 1 way glass with camera above you filming 😬 the bathroom was still something out of the year 2000 and seriously needs a revamp, but my biggest grip, considering you are trying to impress and already disgruntled customer, was the heating did not work and the room was like a fridge. To be totally honest, your hotel is a complete and utter contradiction of itself, the outside of the property looks absolutely beautiful, the disappointment hits you like a tsunami when you walk into a room. All in all, highly disappointing and it would not matter if you offered me a week of free stays, I will not be returning. "

"The apt mentions it has a restaurant, but it closed during covid and hasn’t reopened. It does serve an excellent breakfast, but the restaurant isn’t open for lunch or dinner. I was there on an Easter Monday, and the majority of the restaurants in the area were closed for the holiday. I would not have stayed at the hotel if I had known the restaurant was closed. "
